I have been listening to Jonathan Richman since a teacher in high school made me a mix that included a few of his songs. I fell in love with the upbeat tempos, cheesy backup vocals and the playful lyrics. He taught me me a lot as a musician.

This is my first time seeing Jonathan Richman play live and while i was surprised by the format, it was truly a great show. I look forward to seeing him play again soon.
