USMCA Certified Coach
Coaching
I coach riders at every level: your first track day, coming back after years away, or chasing a championship. I meet you where you are and build from there. I don't want you to just be fast. I want you to be great.
Why me
I'm a rider first. I commuted on sport bikes through my thirties, started track days in 2022, and now I race and coach. I cross-train in enduro, flat track, and mini moto, and coaching is how I give back to the sport.
Certified through the USMCA. I'm a certified coach with the United States Motorcycle Coaching Association: background checked, with current CPR, first-aid, and rider-safety training. You can also find and message me on the MotorcycleCoaching.org app.
What you get
A coach in your corner all day
You get me for the whole day. We set a focus before each session, I'm out for every one of yours, and we regroup after. You always know what to work on next.
Video of every session
I film you on track and we review it together, so you see what I see. You keep the footage to study at home and measure progress against.
A clear plan, one thing at a time
Not ten tips you can't use. We find the one or two changes that matter most, and you leave knowing exactly what to practice next.
Confidence that lasts
Confidence comes from skill you can feel, not a pep talk. We build it a win at a time so it sticks, and we keep it fun. Lap times follow.
Proof it worked
Baseline at the start, before-and-after at the end, on video and on the clock. You go home with evidence you got better.
How we do it
On-track coaching
One-on-one at the track: lead and follow, video review after most sessions. Anything from first track-day fundamentals to race craft (starts, passing, race lines). The most hands-on way to make a big jump.
In person at 2Fast track days across the Pacific Northwest and at Mac Track in McMinnville, home of Oregon Lightweight Moto.
A typical in-person day runs like this:
- Before the track goes hot. We meet in the pits early, get your bike through tech, set tire pressures, and talk through what you want from the day.
- First session is lead and follow. Easy laps behind me, no clock, no pressure, while I get a read on how you ride.
- Then a simple cycle, all day. Set one focus, you ride while I film, we review the video, you go back out.
- The footage is yours. I upload everything after the day, so you can study it and measure your next track day against it.

Video review
Send me your footage. I break it down corner by corner, the same way I would trackside, and send back what to change and why.
Ongoing programming
A plan to work on your own: drills to ride, homework to study, then a check-in to set the next block. Steady improvement between track days, not just on them.
